Karen M. Parks DVM is the owner and founder of the Cat Clinic of Cheyenne. She graduated with a degree in zoology from Colorado State University in 1987. She then attended Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated first in her class in 1992. After graduation Dr. Parks moved to Maine where she owned and operated a small animal hospital that cared for dogs, cats, exotics and wildlife. In 2001, Dr. Parks was able to realize her dream of opening a feline exclusive practice. Dr. Parks enjoys all aspects of feline medicine and surgery, but has a special interest in oncology, behavior medicine and diseases of geriatric cats.

Dr. Parks is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. She is currently pursuing board certification by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in feline practice.

Dr. Parks resides in Cheyenne with her four children and four terrific cats; "Aladdin", "Fred", "Cowboy Floyd" and "Rorry". Her other interests include running, good novels, jazz music and horses.
