Reception Area
When you arrive at our clinic you will be greeted by our receptionist in our quiet, comfortable reception area. One of the features that makes our practice special is that our waiting area is free of the sight, sound and smell of dogs. Even a cat that coexists peacefully with dogs at home may become apprehensive in the company of strange dogs.

Exam Room
The next step for most patients is to one of our 2 examination rooms. This is where the patient is weighed and where a complete physical examination is done. Most of our client education is also conducted in these rooms, whether it be discussing kitten care, explaining a newly diagnosed disease or going over x-rays.

Treatment Area
The treatment area is the hub of the hospital. This is where we evaluate hospital patients and perform a variety of medical procedures. Our ward cages are in full view of the treatment area which allows us to easily monitor our hospitalized patients. Our hospital provides a quiet, low stress environment. We feel that this is important for the recovery of sickest patients. All cages have soft fleeces and cat beds to make the cats more comfortable. Warm water blankets and an oxygen cage are available if needed.

Isolation Ward
The isolation ward is a small bank of cages dedicated to cats that have potentially contagious diseases. The glass door facilitates observation while a separate ventilation system assures that the potentially contaminated air won't reach the other cats in the hospital.

We closely monitor their heart rate, respiratory rate, ECG, and level of tissue oxygenation. Most of our patients are maintained on Isoflurane anesthesia which is considered one of the safest.
